Michelle and Joey’s Wedding On
Saturday, March 24, 2012
A Happily Ever After Floral had another great wedding on Saturday, March 24, 2012. Michelle and Joey’s wedding took place at the Craig Municipal Airport at the Malone AirCharter Hanger. They were a great couple to work with and we had a lot of fun designing the flower bouquets together. On their wedding day the weather was not cooperating at first, but the rain finally stopped right before the ceremony took place. The girls braved the cloudy weather to get some cute pictures of themselves in their aviator sunglasses.
Back inside of the hanger where the ceremony and reception was held, the girls got some great shot of themselves with their bridesmaid bouquets. They had a great backdrop of some beautiful private jets. The wedding party took several pictures in front of them. The girl’s bouquets looked great as they popped against their blue dresses. The bridesmaid’s bouquets consisted of ivory hydrangeas and green spider mums.
The bride’s floral bouquet was composed of ivory hydrangeas, ivory spider mums and ivory gerber daisies. It looked great up against her ivory lace wedding gown.
As part of the theme, the guys donned on their aviator sunglasses. During cocktail hour, the guests also received a pair of their own aviator sunglasses to wear while waiting for the reception to start. The guy’s boutonniere was an ivory hydrangea sprig with a hydrangea leaf behind it.
For the cake we used a few ivory hydrangeas to give it a completed look with the toss bouquet next to it. At the end of the reception, the couple took off in their private jet for their honeymoon. This was a great wedding and a great couple to work with. I wish them the best and many happy years to come.
