Sweet Wedding at The White Room- St Augustine

Brooke & Brad’s Wedding Flowers, St Augustine, Florida

   Our couple had a beautiful February wedding in St Augustine, Florida at The White Room. Ceremony was held in the Villa Blanca room and reception in the Grand Ballroom. We loved being able to create a special moment for Brooke with a bridal bouquet reveal to her. It was the first time she saw her wedding bouquet in person.

As a wedding floral designer, this is our favorite part. This is the moment normally the bride has gotten into her dress or about to get into her dress and sees her beautiful bridal bouquet and knowing she will be getting married to her love in less than a few hours. It just becomes so real in that moment and it is sweet too for us seeing the joy her bridal bouquet brings to her. When we handed Brooke’s bouquet off to her she said that this is when it felt so real that she was going to get married today. It made our hearts so happy hearing that. 

Brooke chose a more garden airy style design for her bouquet with her flowers in shades of white, soft peach and a pop of light blue. 

For the ceremony, the couple chose to rent our champagne/gold round moon gate arch. We designed a floral and greenery garland along the top. This framed them at the altar and provided a pop of color in the room.

After the ceremony, the celebration was moved into the Grand Ballroom for cocktail hour and reception. We repurposed the floral off the moon gate arch to the middle of the wedding party table. We also added the bridesmaid bouquets down the middle of the table too. For centerpieces, we placed loose greenery around the base of the bride’s candles. 

As the wedding reception winded down, the couple enjoyed a private last dance to celebrate their marriage and being surrounded by those they loved most that day. Once the last dance concluded they were swept downstairs to have a fun send off by friends and family.
