Ashley and Will’s Wedding
We had another wonderful wedding here at A Happily Ever After Floral in Jacksonville, Florida. On Friday, April 9, 2012 we had the opportunity to be a part of Ashley and Will’s wedding. Their ceremony and reception was held at the Ribault Club Inn on Ft. George Island. It was held in the late afternoon outside in front of a massive oak tree. Her colors were white, soft silver, shades of purple and lavender.
The Bride’s floral bouquet consisted of lavender roses, purple hydrangeas, lavender tulips, purple stock and deep purple lisianthus. We wrapped her bouquet with white ribbon and did a soft silver crisscross accent.
Her maid of honor bouquet consisted of lavender roses, deep purple lisianthus and purple stock. We wrapped this bouquet with a deep purple ribbon so it would pop against her lavender dress.
The groom and best man both wore flowers to match the girls. For the groom’s boutonniere we paired lavender lisianthus with a little bit of purple hydrangea and the best man’s boutonniere we paired lavender lisianthus with a purple stock sprig.
We had a great time putting their bouquets and flowers together. The brides was wonderful to work with and had a good idea of what she wanted her flowers to look like. On the day of the wedding, the drive into the Ribault Club Inn was so scenic and you saw much of the marsh area, wildlife and old massive oak trees. The weather was a bit blustery, but the rain held off and they were able to have their “Happily Ever After” outdoor wedding. We wish them a truly blessed marriage.
