Jamie and Daniel’s Wedding Flowers
A Happily Ever After Floral in Jacksonville, Fl was thrilled to be part of Jamie and Daniel’s love story. They were married in Orange Park, Fl at the Winterbourne Inn on September 28, 2012. They were married outdoors under the historic old oak trees by the St John’s River. The day was beautiful with a gentle breeze blowing the moss covered oak trees. The perfect day to have a wedding! Their wedding flowers were a mixture of Gerber daisies in shades of pink.
Jamie really loved Gerber daisies and wanted her bridal bouquet to be composed of just those flowers. We wanted her flowers to pop against her dress. To achieve that look, we did a mixture of light pink, bright pink and white Gerber daisies with a little salal greenery around the base of the flowers. We wrapped the stems with white ribbon.
With the bridesmaids being dressed in a rich chocolate colored dress with a pink sash we wanted their flowers to match but also not blend in. We did a mixture of light pink and bright pink Gerber daisies. For her sister’s bridesmaid bouquet and her soon-to-be daughter’s bouquet, we wrapped their stems with bright pink ribbon. For her other two bridesmaid bouquets we wrapped their stems with light pink ribbon.
For Daniel’s boutonniere, he wore one white Gerber daisy with a touch of the salal leaves. The rest of the groomsmen wore one light pink Gerber daisy with a touch of salal leaves. The moms really did not want to wear a flower, so instead we opted for them to carry a small floral bouquet of light pink Gerber daisies. We were so happy to be part of this delightful couples’ wedding day. I love this photo of the wedding party with the sunset light shining through.
