Nimi and Prasanna’s Outdoor Wedding Flowers
A Happily Ever After Floral in Jacksonville, Fl had the pleasure of being part of Nimi and Prasanna’s Wedding on Saturday, September 1, 2012. We had an enjoyable time helping them bring to life their floral vision for their wedding flowers. Nimi and Prasanna were married at the Howard Gillman Memorial Park in St Mary’s, Georgia. We arrived bright and early before the sun was up to start stringing the burgundy carnations in front of the gazebo. We wanted to create an entrance effect with the hanging flowers. This was a really wide gazebo and had several hundred carnations to hang. We also trailed down the steps and aisle red roses petals for the bridal party.
As we continued to hang each long strand the sun came up warm and bright. Some of Nimi and Prasanna’s family members started to set up everything in the Mandap that they needed for their traditional Hindu wedding.
When the ceremony started, the bride was carried down the aisle to her bridegroom. As Nimi was being carried down the aisle, she had a small floral bouquet of white mini calla lilies and blush pink roses. Her bridesmaid had a small floral bouquet of mixed white and blush pink roses. The ceremony lasted for about two hours. It was such an enjoyable experience to be part of with all of their family and friends there to celebrate their marriage.
We created a floral garland for the bride and groom each to wear during the ceremony. The flowers consisted of burgundy and white carnations that we hand-strung for them.
The bride and groom continued the outdoor experience during the reception. They had the area tented and we provided charming hydrangea centerpieces for their tables. We were able to work with the fantastic Biscottis Catering during the reception.
It was a long day for us at A Happily Ever After Floral, but we loved being part of every minute! We enjoyed being part of a a very rich and vibrant wedding ceremony with all of their family and friends. We wish Nimi and Prasanna a life of happiness and joy and as always “A Happily Ever After.”
