At A Happily Ever After Floral, we love being a part  and helping to create some of the special moments on your wedding day. Right before the wedding as we made final adjustments to the wedding flowers, we were able to capture this picture of Angela with her dad as he waited to walk her down the aisle. Angela and Andy were married on Monday, July 30, 2012, at the Winterbourne Inn in Orange Park. Angela loved peacock feathers and so we incorporated them throughout the flowers. For her bouquet we used white casablanca lilies, white spider mums, blue dendrobium orchids, tropical greenery and of course peacock feathers.

For the bridesmaid bouquets, Angela wanted to keep it simple. She only wanted them to carry one flower and a few peacock feathers. Also, each girl was in a different shade of blue. So to keep it simple and to match the girl’s dresses we picked a flower from the bride’s bouquet. Each girl carried one white spider mum, two peacock feathers and a few bear grass loops.

As the girls were getting ready, we were hanging the flowers down the aisle with shepherd hooks. We used these cute metal buckets and stuffed them full of white spider mums and peacock feathers. They kept with the simple theme and the feathers added just a pop pf blue to match the bridesmaid dresses. We loved having fun with these  aisle flowers.

As we met up with the groom to pin on his boutonniere, he was ready to get married. For his boutonniere we used two blue dendrobium orchids, a few bear grass loops and one peacock feather.

For the mom’s corsages we wanted to keep the flower neutral. So to keep with the theme, we used one white phalaenopsis orchid a little greenery and a few peacock feathers and a cream bow.

For the floral centerpieces, Angela loved the submerged flower look. We used one of our tall clear glass cylinder vase and submerged blue dendrobium orchids in it. We had one submerged light in the bottom of the vase and one floating candle on top.
