Krisha and Lonnie’s Wedding Flowers

 A Happily Ever After Floral was part of a beautiful wedding in St. Augustine, Fl on    July 29, 2012. Krisha and Lonnie were married at the Lightner Building and had their reception at The Loft at The White Room. Krisha was a destination bride and we planned her entire wedding over long phone calls and several emails. I was so happy to finally meet her on her wedding day. Her wedding colors for her wedding flowers were lapis and ivory. For Krisha’s bridal floral bouquet we mixed deep purple dahlias, ivory hydrangeas and green spider mums together.

For the bridesmaids bouquets, they were composed of ivory hydrangeas, deep purple dahlias and a few green spider mums. We added the green spider mums, because they added that extra pop of color to make the bouquets really stand out.

For the boutonnieres, we used one purple dahlia and added a small sprig of the ivory hydrangea to it. This combination really looked great against their suits.

I loved this centerpiece Krisha and I created together. The flowers are sitting on tall vases in The Loft at The White Room at St. Augustine, Fl. I love the exposed brick in this room, the antique chandeliers and all of the natural lighting. For Krisha’s floral centerpieces we placed a rounded floral arrangement on top of the tall vase. We used ivory hydrangeas, white lilies and white roses to create this look. We then placed three square glass votives around the centerpiece for more mood lighting.

I really enjoyed working with this couple and loved bringing their floral vision to life. I wish them a wonderful marriage and  A Happily Ever After….
